Care

- Do not place any heavy or sharp objects on the table.
- Undercover use or storage will extend the life of the table.

Maintenance

- The Urban range is supplied with a natural, unfinished surface. When used outdoors the teak will develop an ash grey patina (or a golden patina if used indoors).
- Occasionally clean the table with a soft lint free cloth or duster.
- Spills should be removed quickly with a damp soft sponge or lint free cloth that has been soaked in warm water with mild detergent.
- Stains can be removed by using either a teak cleaner (available from marine and hardware stores) or lightly sanding with a synthetic sanding pad such as a 3M Scotch Brite pad.
- Unfinished timber will absorb stains more readily than coated surfaces. If the tables are used in a situation where there is a high incidence of spills, we recommend the application of a protective outdoor oil such as Osmo UV protection oil. If desired protective outdoor oil can also be used to block teak’s natural greying process. Follow the oil manufacturer’s application instructions. Check you are happy with the oil colour by applying to a small area under the table before applying to other surfaces.
